Crotched Mountain Ski Area in Bennington, NH is open again, it's been closed since 1989. This Monadnock Region ski area and board area features; Natural hill with 875 foot vertical drop. Top elevation: 2066 feet, Base elevation: 1050 feet. 17 trails. Average grade: 10% - 15% Terrain: 28% beginner, 50% intermediate, 22% advanced. 2 quad chairs, 1 triple chairs, 1 double chair, 1 "Wonder Carpet", 2 surface tows.Uphill capacity: 11,200 people per hour.
Snowmaking: Over 125 snowmaking outlets with 75 stationary tower snowguns. High efficiency equipment pumps 6000 gallons of water per minute, producing 12 inches of machine made snow over the entire ski area in a 24 hour period at temperatures of 20 degrees F.
